I was wondering if you can actually live in one .
Electric and toilet should be able to go in there plus double glazing

Ooh I know about this as next door neighbour reported me to planning.
You can have electricity to it without planning permission And if the people staying in it have to go in the main house to cook/wash/toilet but if you have running water/toilet in it then you do need planning permission to stay in it.

Having a loo in there will affect your council tax too, it’ll be deemed an additional dwelling

If you're considering it,
Look into getting a log cabin for your garden! More able to retain heat and you'd buy one with bathroom area too

Yes you’ll need planning permission plus you’ll pay two lots of council tax. Plus you should check the restrictions on your property since it might be specifically prohibited.
