I was wondering approx how much it would cost?
Wall is about 3.5m long.

Knocked down, or knocked through?

Depends where you are in the country but a simple demolition won't be much - 1 day's labour for 2 men & a skip.

Knock through will need calculations, steel, possibly services moving, plastering. Budget around £2k-£3k.

Don’t forget the cost of building control. I think for us was a few hundred extra

Thanks. Knocked through but then new wall putting up (making one room bigger and one smaller). Had forgotten about building control, thanks.

We are getting a load bearing wall knocked down soon. Quote is about £3.5k including structural calculations, building control fee and blocking up a doorway.

Thanks Tiberius, that's really helpful Flowers
