Homebuyers Survey

Hiya, quick question, we are buying a house and have had the valuation done with Santander and a mortgage offer from them a couple of weeks ago. We are paying for our own Homebuyers Survey which is happening today, will Santander have to see the report? They haven't asked for one or even know about it as far as I know, are we obligated to show them however? Obviously we don't know what the report is going to say and I am probably overthinking and worrying but basically I want to know if we get to decide whether to proceed with the purchase or the bank if there is a problem?

Was the survey booked through the bank or with a private surveyor. if the latter they deff wouldn't see it. if the former then i doubt they will but not 100%

Through a private surveyor, it should be ok then? That's a relieve, thank you.

Yeah no way they would pass on anh info without your consent

Why would you not want the bank to see it?

The bank only care about their own valuation surgery. Your homebuyers survey is private and the bank will have no interest in it; they wouldn't even know if you'd had one done as not everyone bothers
