Im not sure if this is the place. However it is property!

I'm Licensed Conveyancer in a fairly large practice. Please tell me that I am not the only one on my knees with the work load at the moment. Averaging at least two additional hours a day and some weekends.

I am bloody exhausted and totally overwhelmed. I think my firm are expecting a dip after March next year , so they want to get the bills in now, but I am on a doubled work load. Please tell me its not just me.

The conveyancing stage always goes at a snails pace compared to the rest of the process!

What on earth are you on about @GreyGardens88?

Sympathies OP.

I'm a solicitor working for a Licenced Conveyancers. My role is specialist, so I was furloughed and now working normal hours. But colleagues who worked all through said it was horrible.

There is a feeling of getting things done whilst the going is good.

Are you finding clients are more demanding too?

Jujuball · 19/08/2020 20:27

Me!!

Several of our admin team are still furloughed even though the workload is through the roof, so we're struggling to do the admin on top of the actual legal work. I'm exhausted and clients don't seem to understand that covid is still having an impact on services, eg searches are slow in my area at the moment.

I keep googling ideas for a career change but feel like I'm in too deep now Sad

I want to cry daily! 😂 grateful to have a job of course and worried about next year but bloody hell its hard going at the moment.

A relative used to be a Conveyancer and I was just wondering this week how many are swamped with work at the moment. You have my sympathy!
