How much is your gas/heating DD?

We’re looking to upsize to four bedrooms but a house has come on the market that’s almost double the size we’ve been looking at so I just wondered how much we’d expect to pay in utilities.

Can check council tax on local council website.

Thanks

Ours is bigger than that but if I pro-rate the utilities, then £200 for 100% renewable energy. I think a lot will depend on the age and insulation of the property, windows, aspect, location in the coutry etc

A bit late to this but our house is 200sqm and we pay £180-£200 per month for gas and electricity combined.

We are 300 sq metres and old- electric about £150 a month, and about £170 for oil in winter.

198sqm, £80 a month on electricity as that is all we have access too. House is a super insulated eco house though.

Ours is about 250sqm, detached old house with mainly old windows, about £300 to £325 a month

Ours is around 210sqm, and we pay £115pcm for gas and electricity combined with Bulb (which is renewable energy). Our heating/hw system is less than a year old so our boiler is very efficient, and the rule is that you need a jumper on before the heating goes on! We have double glazing but frankly it's rubbish - half of it is blown (the house is a doer upper).

I think it depends more on the level of insulation than the size of the house. We extended taking a 200 sqm house to 300 sqm but our energy bills went down becuase the new extension was far better insulated and made the rest of the house warmer.
