Wondering whether to sign up to this online course to help with our upcoming renovation:

fifimcgee.co.uk/how-to-renovate-a-house

Has anyone signed up and has honest feedback?

The course includes:
-How to effectively budget
-How to prepare yourself for unforeseen costs
-How to build a timeline for your renovation + project manage it yourself
-What to think about to achieve the right layout
-How to appoint the best architect, contractors and tradesmen for your job
-How to identify your own unique design style
-How to build mood boards + colour scheme
-And some other additional/bonus content

It’s priced at £349 but says there is a promotional discount and has lifetime access to all their tutorials, videos and print outs etc.

Do you think this is good value? Have you used it or do you wish you had used something like this on your renovation project?

The question you need to ask yourself, quite seriously, is could you live in a house that someone called 'Fifi McGee' 'helped' you "create'?

Just 'source' yourself a builder and have at it, would be my recommendation.

This reads a bit like some sneaky advertising to me. Sorry if not so.

FWIW I agree with BustPipes

Honestly, just watch Sarah Beeny (in all her guises) and laura on ‘your home made perfect). Get lots of quotes before you set your budget-don’t say £20,000 as it will triple. Be realistic and then add 10-15% contingency.

Hi. Just curious, did you ever sign up and, if so, was it any good? If not, did you get your project completed to your satisfaction?

Never heard of her. Is she recognised as an expert in this field?

A waste of money, for sure!
