Can anyone recommend a paint/spray for kitchen handles?

As per title, does anyone know a good quality spray paint or normal paint (preferably spray) for my silver kitchen handles? They're very worn and scratched. No point buying all new handles as we plan on replacing kitchen in the next few years, whenever we get round to it with everything else to do! I've used a wilko one on a few decor bits like vases but it chips off so easily! They're not silver silver, I'll attach a pic.

Paint will wear away quickly and look unsightly, but do it if you want. You can get cans of spray paint by Plasticote. Metallics are more likely to look patchy than plain colours.

Remove the handles first by undoing the two screw heads on the inside of the drawer-front of door.

Clean with white spirit and kitchen roll. Wear plastic (not rubber) gloves.

Take them outdoors and prop them up. If you put them in a large cardboard box it will protect the spray from wind, and keep off most falling dust. When hardened, turn round to to the other side.

Get some spare screws because some will probably be damaged or lost. Take one out and measure it first. It will be M4 BZP and probably about 30mm long

Try Frenchic paint - they also do a metallic range. The Frenchic Fan Forum on Facebook has loads of example and ideas.
