Excuse the baby bump in pic. Can anyone explain how to change the tool on this drill. I've tried reading the instructions online but they're not clear

I would try holding the black "ring" that's closest to the drill with one hand and turning the black "ring" that has the drill bit in it with the other hand.

Depending who put it in, it can be difficult!

Hold it where the torque control numbers are (123 etc) and twist the black part holding the bit clockwise as you are holding it now.

Never mind, figured it out!

Is it an Aldi one?

Should be as simple as twisting this bit anti clockwise until the claw of the drill bit opens.

My husband put it in and as with everything makes things too tight (or too high etc).
He forgets my hands are a lot smaller / weaker than his Grin

Wasted half an hour figuring that out.

Thanks folk

You might find a strap-wrench, of the "Boa" or similar type, useful for jar lids and dismantling binoculars as well as drill chucks.

on ebay

Also sold in places like Halfords as they can be used for oil filters. Don't get the chain type. Rubber gloves also give a good grip.

Thanks @PigletJohn sounds useful to have at home.
I do have small hands even for a woman so struggle with practical things!
