So we’ve viewed a house today that we would like to offer on. The only catch is that the attic felt really claustrophobic. It had a tiny Velux window, low ceilings and was steeply sloping. The solution to this issue is a dormer which the next door property has done. When looking on the internet, the only prices I can find is for a full blown loft conversion with a dormer. I just need to know how much a dormer would cost in an existing lift conversion. Has anyone done this and could share how much they paid?
