Hi, just wondered if anyone on here was a roofer, and if this quote seems reasonable? I've been quoted £290 to replace a metre of roof felt, replace the flashing around the roof air vent, and to replace 3 tiles? I don't have a good feeling about the guy that came out if I'm honest, but I have water coming in through the roof, and have been trying to get a roofer out for 2 months with no luck, as they either don't turn up, or one wanted an extortionate amount. I need to get this sorted, so am prepared to pay over the odds, but don't want to be completely ripped off either.
He specifically asked to be paid in cash as well which is concerning me. I often actually pay tradesman in cash, it doesn't bother me, but the fact he specifically asked me to, is playing on my mind a little. Thanks!
