Eek! Help me choose 3 new bathrooms today!

Help! I have to choose three bathrooms today, looking to use CP Hart in London, preferably going to use Duravit on sale.

It's for a terraced house, one small main bathroom, one small en suite, one very small understair loo.

I want everything clean and fresh - we are unfortunately going to have to rent out our house for several years as we are going to be working in another country. So I want it to be good quality plain sanitary ware that will be easy to repair and replace if necessary.

Main bathroom. Don't need a bath as keeping existing enamel one.

Was thinking Duravit Happy D2 sink with towel rail but I don't like the matching close-coupled loo? Does anyone have a free-standing Duravit loo that they could recommend?

Just choose one set/style for all three!

I agree with above, I had exactly the same when we were building our house. I chose the same mid-range toilet and wash basin for all three and saved the originality for the shower enclosure (ex display, bargain) and bath.

I absolutely agree with this! I quite like having the same style throughout the house anyway.

Does anyone have experience of a Duravit Happy D2 loo? I LOVE the sink but the loo is having mixed reports online.

jeez - how much? A bog is a bog and a sink is a sink. Just choose the basic range from a plumbers merchant. Make sure no pop up wastes, you want a good old fashioned plug.

it's the same bathroom suite in our rental as it is in our house - both have lasted fine. Baths are all in the installation, make sure it is solidly done and properly sealed. I would replace that enamel one if I were you, too easy to damage so do it now.

I doubt housing authorities pay out excessively for their bathroom suites and they are (from experience) sturdy and hard wearing. .

I'm not saying you need to go super cheap, but at the same time you don't want to spend £££ on something that would be expensive to repair or replace.

As you're renting it out look for cost and efficiency over style (obviously you don't want anything fugly, but don't put style at the top of your list)

Just to add I'm actually going cross eyed trying to chose a bathroom suite. I want the older, classic style (the current boxed in fashion reminds me of airplane loos!) but the glossy catalogues from the bathroom company don't have them. I reckon B&Q will come up with the goods!

Thanks for reminding that CP Hart have a sale on - that’s a good discount on Duravit. It is difficult choosing stuff online but I think you should choose a good brand as it’s always a selling point if you were ever to sell in the future. And a classic style like those Duravit ones won’t date.

Have you talked to CP Hart? We bought our bathroom from them and like you went totally cross eyed trying to choose, when I spoke to one of their sales reps she was so helpful. We choose a Duravit wall hung loo and sink, I think we choose [https://www.cphart.co.uk/duravit-durasquare-washbasin-600mm/ this]] sink with taps coming out of the wall and maybe this loo. The bathroom is being done as I type and it still in the boxes thats why Im saying "I think"! Im not sure I would have chosen them without the help of the rep.from CP Hart as I got increasingly muddled up!
We have another bathroom to do and no Ive looked at least a million bathrooms will choose something different because its a totally different shape/size room.
My DH works in the very high end construction industry and Duravit is very commonly used the general consensus is that it looks good and last very well. We also choose Hansgrohe tap and shower for a similar reasons.
