Grade 2 Listed Building with very lapsed planning permission

Hello all
We received the old documents on our house yesterday, and we have plans and permission documents to put dormer-style windows in the attic, dating 1965.
Clearly these lapsed a long time ago - granting was done before listing was done.

Does anyone know if they would have any sway on a new application to do the same?

No, they wouldn't. Unfortunately all the planning legislation will have changed since then so a permission that old holds no weight. There may still be an opportunity to put in a small dormer type roof once it's high quality materials and at the rear only. Get a local conservation accredited architect to take a look, they'll be able to advise you.

Sorry, I didn't see that the planning permission was from before it was listed. Then it definitely won't be a material concern in any new application but the rest of my advice stands.
