A few years ago DGM gave me a dining table and chairs. Its started to look very very worn (probably due to the fact its over 40 years old) DGM has since passed away so I don't want to throw it out as its quite sentimental. I think its Mahongany and wondered if possible to upcycle it? I have never done anything like this nor am I particularly creative/artistic so any tips would be much appreciated or even pointing in the right direction where to start. Many Thanks.

Have a look at Frenchic page on Facebook - type in dining table in the search bit in the group and it'll bring up loads of ideas.
I've recently joined the group and am amazed with what they paint - a moped even I saw yesterday ConfusedGrin

There is a YouTube channel I found very useful when restoring my MIL's dining table. Its called Dashner Design & Restoration.

Although its more on how to restore things its good for learning some techniques you might need.
