Anyone else moved into a house that’s been empty for a long time and the neighbours start complaining once you live there??

OP I might just play really loud hip hop next time they want an afternoon soirée As much as I like that idea Grin, you'd be better getting a water sprinkler, I'm sure you can time it to go off when needed Grin. I guy I work with has two dogs, he has cameras setup indoors and facing outside so he can check on them using his phone, I think he also said he can talk to them. Maybe you need something like that, you'll have a better idea what they get up to. I'd also try leaving a radio when you leave the house, with all the noise they might not be interested on what's going on outside.

@My0My

Hmm. A bit late now but this doesn’t sound like the best property for three dogs. Do they not have an enclosed garden? I can see why your neighbours might think this is an issue. I would.
Yes they do have an enclosed garden. The dogs were in the house barking at the neighbour who was drinking on our grass at the front of the house. If you read the thread you’ll understand.

The rear garden which they use is fully enclosed and private.

Yes I’d laugh at that! They do have the radio on and are on 99 percent of the time enclosed in the kitchen. On that particular day we hadn’t closed the door properly which allowed them to roam the house hence barking at the window. As I said we were only out for a short time but got pounced on our return. I suspect that a combination of someone making living noise , dog barking , COVID 19 lockdown and red wine Exacerbated the situation.

@BowiesJumper

How about some some big pots with shrubs in etc around your area?
Yes can certainly look at that, would need quite a few though!
