Just moved into our first house and it's a fucking money pit! We just had a massive leak under the bath where the pipes just gave out after 15 years of leaking. We've put a claim in on the house insurance but not sure if they will pay out. Basically the bath has been tiled at an angle despite the wall being straight so water from the shower is going down the back of the tiles (?) and it was going through the taps but we had those changed, we've also had the crack in the bath kind of repaired with silicone but it won't last. Here's a photo of our bathroom
Just because.

We need;
New bath
New tiles
New floor boards
New floor

We paid 7.5k for a brand new bathroom, walls, ceiling, floors, bath, separate shower unit, sink and toilet. Also new radiator/towel rail and involved moving walls to make bathroom bigger, and creating a cupboard to house the boiler. They threw in a mirror cabinet for free 😂

I'm SW my Mum paid c. £7k for a whole new bathroom, kept the old bath and sink but had new toilet, shower cubicle, flooring, wall tiling. In SE I usually pay £40-50psm for tiling. Bathroom suites are hugely variable, I paid £1k recently for a 'statement sink', toilet, and a surrounding cupboard unit with marble top.
