conservatory with a roof put on

moving house..... our current conservatory has the polycarbonate flat panels roof. usual hot in summer, cold winter etc etc. new house has conservatory (couple of years old), but "pitched" proper style roof.

what differences will i find between older 10 yr old flat roof conservatory and new proper roof style conservatory??

Quite a lot, the new conservatory should be a habitable room all year round. People with the polycarbonate roof are having them switched to a pitched roof with lightweight tiles.
We looked in to this, but found out the previous owner built the conservatory himself so we doubt the foundations are deep enough.
