Falcon 1092 deluxe induction range cooker very expensive mistake

Bought the Falcon 1092 deluxe induction range cooker 5 years ago and what an expensive mistake. It replaced my trustworthy range master Toledo which lasted over 10 years but wanted to up spec and it does look lovely but... the oven cooks 30% hotter not the usual 20% so several baking calamities! Then a few weeks ago the induction hob blew and after endless phone calls I establish it can only be dealt with by a recommended falcon engineer. They want £132 to visit and diagnose the problem which seems to be, we require a whole new power board apparently which will cost over £800 plus another £52 to actually come and fit it! The best bit, the new parts are only guaranteed for 6 months and work itself 3 months. Unbelievable!! No other engineer will touch it as they cannot provide any sort of guarantee as falcon won’t let them. I now have a useless but lovely looking cooker and very very disappointed with Falcon company. Will never waste over £4,000 on a cooker again but buy cheaper models that I can replace as and when.
