are you happy with them or regretting the colour choice?

I still like mine. Are you thinking of getting sage green units, or regretting that you did?

youngestisapsycho · 04/06/2020 13:41

I am thinking of getting them.
I really don't want wood, or white or grey!
I really like navy but think it will be too dark.

Oh I am considering the same, so following.

I have sage green units and love them! I have an old cottage and traditional kitchen so they fit in well with the look of the house. My counters are pale oak and the floor is Victorian patterned tiles so it’s all quite light and airy.

we are having stone worktops so was looking a mid grey colour?

although thinking a darker worktop as the sage is quite light? its all from scratch so can pick anything

What about light blue? I quite fancied green units but got overruled by the SWMBO lol

ChelseaCat · 04/06/2020 14:26

We have them too - still really like them. We went for a wood worktop which looks nice but is a bitch to take care of

youngestisapsycho · 04/06/2020 14:42

I would like wood, or even wood effect laminate like we have now… think it would look really nice with the green... but DH had overruled that we are having stone ( he is getting it for free!)
We are having dark grey window and bifold doors.

I looked at light blue..., but the green is a bit warmer. I've always loved the colour green.

Me. Kitchen is 18yo but still like it. Had the same kitchen in the previous house. When we sold it we sold to the first viewer who said as soon as they saw the kitchen they knew they wanted the house!

Not sure if it’s a bit dated now, everything seems to be gloss and white. I figure out if I hang on in long enough it’ll be trendy again. Maybe it’s time is back? Grin

Go for it! Moores kitchens do a range called Kensington which has a "thyme" option which is like a pale sage green. It's not that dark.

I am also a big fan of the navy/blue kitchen themes at the moment.
