Cost of installing induction job?

We move into a new build end of the year but sadly missed the cut off for kitchen upgrades. Has anyone changed their gas hob to an induction (not during a kitchen refit)? Was it easy to do? How were the costs? Does it impact worktops?

Not sure on specific cost as we had a full kitchen refit. We paid £1600 for additional electric sockets, fuse board, external light and change from gas to induction. We had to change fuse boards due to induction hob being different wattage. We were also left with significant work to do due to holes being drilled to get cable for induction hob to fuse board. Not sure if that helps or not!

Oh crikey I didn't realise it was as big a job as that! Thank you, might put that thought to bed ha!
