Video tours for lettings

Quick question- the estate agent in charge of letting our flat has asked us to pay £100 for a video virtual tour. She says it will really help in this difficult market.

I had thought this would be something they might pay for (like they do photos) if it helps to let somewhere quicker - benefits them too.

But thought I'd check what the norm is.
Thanks

Normal to charge for videos ime- some estate agents also charge for an advanced edited photo package!

I would ask for an example first. We are trying to buy, and have seen some great professional ones done with drones etc. Have also seen some awful ones where the agent walks around filming with their phone in Portrait mode then sticks some royalty-free stock music over the top. I'd be happy to pay for one and not the other Wink

+1 on the example advice above!

It's going to be the norm soon I should think. Ours was the agent doing a whatsapp call while walking around but the virtual tour would have been a better choice if done well.

Frankly they should include it in their astronomical costs but just my opinion. I don;t like letting agents much!

You can go in view flats in person now. However, I let out my flat three weeks ago and the agent used a video to show it. He didn't charge me anything extra.
