My kitchen cupboards just fell off the wall!!

Literally just fell off. I'd been standing there ten seconds beforehand - pretty sure I'd have been badly injured if I'd still been there.

I'm a bit in shock and not quite sure what to do next.... this shouldn't happen, should it?! Was supplied and installed about four years ago by a (supposedly) reputable local company and it wasn't cheap!

I don’t think this should happen although I do look at my kitchen cupboards sometimes (only fitted last year by a reputable company too) and wonder how they stay up with all the weight in them?
Maybe contact the company do you have a guarantee?
And home insurance maybe for damages and repair?

Guaranteed for ten years. They weren't very good when I complained previously about the front of a door starting to peel off though - said it was because the kitchen was damp! (It's not)

I'm a bit worried the others will come off now...

That's shocking. Definitely complain to the company.

Get onto the company. I used to do building repairs and somene asked me to refit their kitchen cupboards. I looked at them and refused to do anything until the house owner had emptied them. They were so badly fitted I was afraid they would fall off and I'd end up paying for broken dishes. They had been fitted with screws into plasterboard. No strength at all in the fixings. The company that fitted them had ceased trading
Try to get the original company to repair at their expense otherwise either DIY or get a decent local builder to refit them all.
