Original conveyancer to sell house

Am in the process of selling and was wondering if it's worth using the original conveyancing firm. They still have my file as it was less than 6 years since I bought. Was thinking they'd already have certified ID etc., all relevant papers of the property. They were a decent company to do business with.

If you had a good experience with them previously then that’s good enough on its own. I don’t think you should assume that even if they still have your paperwork, they’ll be able to use it. I am using the same conveyancer for my house purchase (currently) as I did for the sale of my old home last summer. I have still had to provide ID and proof of funds.

@Ypsilanti thanks for that. Just thought I could dodge some of the form filling. It's relentless. Good luck with yours. Smile
