Washing machine in garage - hosepipe water supply?

Is it possible to connect my hosepipe to a washing machine in my garage?

We moved house and there’s an integrated 5kg washing machine in the new kitchen. My lovely 10kg machine is sat in the garage unused (bottom of garden) it will probably be rehomed after lock down as it won’t fit in the integrated kitchen.

I really want to wash my king size duvet in it but would need to connect it up with the hose pipe (as it’s at the bottom and far from the water supply) there is a drain outside that the waste would reach. Is this possible any ideas?

I’m no diy expert!

What will you do about the water coming out?

Can you remove the housing for the integrated machine and put yours in instead? Presumably you've looking into that though.

i guess duvet is one time thing.
connect the hose pipe with tap on for the inlet, make sure no major leak, small leak is fine.
for the outlet put a bucket or let it run in the floor garage and give the floor a good brush/wash :)

In short, no. I'm sure there is a possible way to get an adaptor on to the washing machine hose from the garden hose, but I have never come across one in my 18 years of plumbing. I suppose you could cut the washing machine hose in half, fit the garden hose over it and then secure it with a jubilee clip, but for all that effort, you would do better to get it properly plumbed in
