Anyone from Sutton-in-Ashfield? Or near by?

Hi, we are currently looking at moving house and as dh now works further away are considering moving slightly further south from where we currently are.

I have been looking into housing, schools etc and Sutton in Ashfield seems quite reasonable but I dont know the area at all so would appreciate any advice!

Just to give a bit of info, dh needs to access the m1 for work, we have 1 dd 15 mths, but wanting to find somewhere now within a good school area so we can settle for a while!

Anyone?

Edwinstowe is nice- close to Sutton in Ashfield.

whats your budget for housing? Ravenshead is expensive but good area with good schools

I live very close to S-i-A, depending on your budget I can probably give you a pretty fair idea of where to look for houses.

I live in Sunny Selston - Blidworth is lovely I think.

blidworth isn;t bad all told! I work at junction 27 so very near selston, in fact pop to the Red Lion in Bagthorpe when we are feeling adverturous on our lunch break.
