I just managed to claim the building insurance before the lockdown. The insurance company pay out the money into my bank account based on the quote my builder has given them.
Now, I don't think it is the time to let the builder in because of Covid 19.
If I only plan to let my builder start the work when the Covid-19 go away, but the price might be different or he might not available. Can I go to a different builder and get them to do the job at a cheaper rate? Or I need still need to inform the insurance company for anything I plan to do if that is different?
