Multipanel wall panels for a shower enclosure?

Browsing through the Bathrooms.com Oct brochure I spotted an example of shelving built-in at the end of a shower enclosure. So I thought I'd show it to the plumber.

But in this case the shower enclosure uses Multipanel panelling. I've seen the sheets of panels in bathroom places but never seen any bar in caravans! Has anyone used them and what are the cons & pros?

I would just like mine finished. Builder was half way through doing it. Although we have two toilets we only have one shower. We were glad the plumber put the water back on before he left. So basin and toilet working.

People don’t realise they aren’t tiles at first until they get really close or even touch them

@hoppinggreen thank you. Is the "grout" area embossed (higher or lower than the "tile") or is it just printed on at the edge?

The sample we have is with the "grout" just simply printed.

If yours is embossed, please would you let me know which range it is.

No, it is just printed but I’m more than happy with that.

Before lockdown we were in the process of redesigning our tiny ensuite. We decided to go for acrylic panels as opposed to tile in the shower enclosure. We live in a really hard water area and panels just seem so much easier to clean.

Absolutely love ours . Replaced grotty tiles that we were never happy with .
Marble type . Good quality .
