Best area to live in Crawley?

Looking for an area to bring up a family with good schools, walking distance to a station (pref going into London Blackfriars), with a few nice pubs.

Obvs won’t be moving any time soon but in the next couple of years, so want to get researching once this lockdown is over! I have a friendly in Crawley Down but we don’t want to have to drive to station.

You need to be in walking distance to Three Bridges station. That's the one that has the trains to London. Thameslink to kings cross etc and southern to Victoria.

Worth and Pound Hill are probably the nicest areas and the schools there are good. Depends on the age of your kids but Oriel is a good secondary school.

Maidenbower. All schools very good.
General lack of decent pubs within walking distance though.

Definitely the East side and on mainline (Crawley is not). If you have any flexibility in location maybe look at Balcombe or Horley, or further afield in Horsham or East Grinstead.
