From a roofer/builder, who will be erecting scaffolding, repairing roof tiles, chimneys and guttering?

Any professional registrations/insurances I should ask about?

Make sure they have public liability insurance - this means if they mess up and accidentally cause damage, you can sue them and they might actually pay!

I work in the construction industry. We would ask our subbie builders for copies of insurances, RAMS and are they a member of an SSIP?
