Paint colour for kitchen diner

Need some help working out what colour to paint our kitchen diner. The units are going in and they are dove grey with a navy island. Floor is pale grey, worktops will be off-white. I’m now wondering what colour to paint the room. It’s a large open plan kitchen diner in an Edwardian house (big bay windows, picture rails etc). We could go quite bold below the picture rail, especially as there is only really one wall, all the others have big windows and doorways etc. I’m thinking something like Stiffkey blue with something else in the dining end but am unsure. What do you think? Picture included for unit colours

I would use tiles - either subway or something a bit more of a statement like these

Ah I unhelpfully didn’t photograph the bit that I want to paint - it’s the other end of the room, not the kitchen end and I won’t get a decent photo of it now until tomorrow.

So the dining area at the far end is what needs painting...

How about a yellow or pink?

I really like Little Greene colours.

Light Gold, or Mister David?

Chemis or Dorchester Pink?

Interesting, I hadn’t thought of the warmer colours at all. I’m traumatised by pink though so it can’t be that. When we moved in every surface of this house was painted pink or peach

I can sympathise with the pink trauma. This was my bedroom when we moved into our current home...

Wow that’s pink! Ours were more muted, but on walls, floors and ceilings Shock

I would go with an upmarket statement wallpaper
