Parking and ownership

I wondered if any has had a similar issue. We own a house and outside the house is a courtyard, total of four houses on the courtyard. One house owns a small part of the courtyard (10% or so) so they can park outside their garage, which they do. the other two houses own none of the courtyard but have right to drive over it. It is big enough for parking not to be an issue and we have always let the other two houses park on it. However new neighbors moved in a year ago and have asked guests not to park near their house on land we own. What should we do, has anyone had similar? My OH wants to stop them parking on the courtyard completely. We live in Scotland in case that is relevant to this.

You might want to take the land registry plans over (or scottish version) to let them know it is your land and only people with permission from you can park their. Maybe they have been misled and told it's their spot to park. If they only have right ot cross. Where would they park if you said they couldn't park on the courtyard?
Doesn't allowing use for long enough mean that you can't stop people using that area eventually?
I'd probably ask them not to park on the courtyard altogether, if there is somewhere else for them.
