What is Barrhead, near Glasgow, like.

Hi, I am looking at a flat in this area. Does anyone know what it is like?
I would just like to know if it is a fairly safe and okay area.
It is 20 minutes from Glasgow. Thank you to anyone that can answer

Not great but not the worst.
Schools are a problem as they are the worst in East Renfrewshire. One friend lives near there and another used to teach there.

If you could go to Southpark village or Neilston, these are nearby & would be better choices.
