Redecorating cheaply

Hi all
Are there any home makeover shows on at the moment? I need tips for a budget redecoration project. Probably a lot of MDF will be involved 😂

I’ve no idea if there’s anything like that on free view, iplayer etc?

It’s dark panelling, painting is an option, yes.

I don’t know what’s fashionable but with glass and panelling, there’s nowhere to hang pictures.

The dark aspect has to go anyway, dark panelling is giving it Victorian levels of gloom.

Post a photo and then we can help. If its just wood cladding in strips then the "shiplap" look is very fashionable - paint it white or off white.
