Hi
We are about to buy a house. The vendors want to take curtains, blinds & curtain poles. Has anyone buying a house offered money to include these items and how much did they offer? Thanks

People do seem to want to take them with them, it depends how big the house is (how many curtains are we talking) and what quality the things are as to what price to offer.

Sorry should have said- 3 bed house plus floor length curtains in lounge, dining room and another room. They are nice curtains and blinds and have no idea what to offer.

Ask them what they'd want for them, then if it's too high you can make a counter offer. Good luck!

It depends on where they were sourced from, we have a normal 3 bed house with floor length curtains. They are handmade by a specialist and the fabric we chose weren’t cheap...... made by family business, plus I love them, when we sell I will be wanting to take them with me.

Work out how much you are prepared to pay, but like me they may hold sentimental value much greater than real term value.
