Schedule of conditions

My semi detached neighbour is planning a single storey extension to make her kitchen/dining room bigger and she is sending round a surveyor to do a schedule of conditions. We also have a single storey extension (that was here when we bought the house) but the two extensions will be about 400mm apart as neither are on / to the boundary. Will the surveyor want to look in all of the rooms upstairs and downstairs that are on the party wall or just the wall adjacent to her kitchen/diner and her new extension? Thanks

When the Surveyor did our house he did all rooms on the party wall side. I’m not sure if that’s common practice but is just our experience. Hopefully someone else will comment. Good luck.
