Would you put your renovation on Instagram?

Someone suggested we do this but I don't really see the point? She showed me loads of examples as I don't use instagram myself and she does. Her friend is posting on there regularly about their house with pics, videos and updates and it seems to have become a "thing". I don't have a business to promote though, and most of my friends and family are too old or just not into social media, so nobody would follow me! Some accounts were incredible country piles like the mum of the family charting the "trials and tribulations" of renovating their 1800's mansion, it wasn't a business though. Is it more like property porn people like to look at? We have a very small country village cottage and in comparison I can't imagine people would find it that interesting?!

It has become a thing. Only do it if you think it would be fun. I think some people with huge numbers of followers get some freebies, but I'd guess that's a bit out of your reach tbh.

Loads of people seem to do it with their bog standard new build. Take photos of the hole in the ground, then a few bricks etc. Followed by their choice of grey carpet and grey kitchen units (!) etc. So you wouldn't be out of place if you fancy giving it a go
