Any information about Burton, Cheshire?

Am moving to Cheshire and am looking at various areas (on another thread) around Chester. I am viewing a house in Vicarage Lane in Burton and as I have never been to this area any local info would be much appreciated!

Yep. Small village. Pretty. Church, village hall and a small school. No shop or pub. Not sure on current situation but expect buses to be infrequent and likely to only Neston or Chester. If you have a car though good location as easy to get to train or drive to Liverpool and Chester. I wouldn't discount living there 😊

Pretty and peaceful village, close to Ness Botanical Gardens. Neston is the closest shopping centre. Good communication links.

Hi thanks for the replies! Visited today and although very pretty, no pub or shop or pavement through village so not for me I’m afraid.
