Commute - Bath to Bristol

Following on from a comment in another thread - does anyone else do this commute? Is it as bad as I have heard? What is the train like?

DH has a job in Bristol lined up and we are keen to live in Bath but think the commute may be the fly in the ointment. Coming from London we dont fancy more nightmare daily journeys...
