We had our floorboards sanded and garnished. What a waste of money! They look far far worse than before. They had a dark stain previously, they are now back to the pine. It's so soft that every mark now shows. It just looks dirty because it marks so easily.
Can apply a white varnish over the top without sanding again? The guy put the recommended amounts of coats on.
Or could I use floor paint without sanding again?
