Quality bathroom furniture

From where can I source quality bathroom furniture? My builder says Victoria plumb/ Soaked and the like are poor quality. In addition how much should I expect to pay for a 1200m vanity unit?

You can buy expensive stuff but if it's not fitted correctly it will be crap. Our bath, vanity unit with sink, towel radiator and cabinet are from soak.com. There were tiny problems with the chrome on the rad and the mirror on the cabinet but the customer service was brilliant. They sent new ones out and told us to keep the old ones. They are now installed in my sister and father in laws houses. We did look at some units which were 3 times the price but our fitter said they weren't worth the money. Our 800mm unit was around £300. The fitter/plumber has made an excellent job of it. We did buy Grohe taps, shower controls and a shower head which cost quite a bit, but the quality is excellent and our fitter gets a discount direct from Grohe. Hope this helps you.

I've bought from Victorian plumbing. They've had really good reviews on here and online

Whereabouts are you OP? There are good bathroom showrooms almost everywhere - just Google. My favourite is Bathroom Magic, near Dudley if that's near to you but they are everywhere. We have done three bathrooms/ensuites recently and there is some lovely stuff out there to suit all budgets. We always look for things made in Britain if possible and there is a good choice available.

I am in Kent. In terms of brands I think ideal standard or duravit are good brands?
