anyone bought matt Valspar paint from B&Q ?

I've bought two separate tins six months apart from different stores and neither of them are matt - they have a sheen to them and reflect light. I've put up with the one from six months ago- it's on the wall and I can live with it but not happy with the latest batch

Mine is really matt so I would defo ask for refund

I've got a very dark colour and there's a definite sheen

A light pink I've used in a other room is definitely matt

Both dark colours 'Keep the peace' a inky blue and the other a very dark red

Bloke who mixed the paint put some on a card so I could see the colour dried. It had a sheen them but he said it was because he had dried it rapidly with a hair dryer.

Yes we have. Come to think of it one is matt but the other does have a slight sheen.

I used a tester pot and it's very shiny. My decorator won't use it so going to have to choose another brand

The colours they mix are lovely and I was wanting to do living room next- won't be using Valspar again though

I have a bathroom decorated in a custom mixed, very rich colour and it has a bit of a sheen when the (daylight) bulb is on in there. I thought that was just how it was!

Oh no, I love Valspar paint! Just redecorated my hall stairs and landing and the paint is matt. I did have to have the trade base though because they were out of stock of the regular base. I was really pleased with the coverage and the finish!

I was going to do the living room before Christmas... Hope I get the same matt paint again, I hate shiny paint.
