Gunk had built up inside the door of the washing machine, not inside the rubber seal but the glass in the door and the door frame. So it thought I'd be a good idea to take the door off and clean it. On the bright side, I have a very clean washing machine door.
However I now can't get the door back on the machine, the holes on the hinges aren't matching up to the holes on the machine to get the bolts through if that makes sense. I tried to get the front of the machine off in desperation after going at this for 5 hours, and the locking mechanism on the machine has now fallen inside the machine. I can't afford to get anyone out to fix it and I have no idea how to do this myself, googling has lead me nowhere. If anyone knows what to do please let me know before I lose it completely!
