My spare tv is about 25 years old. Will it work? The old box works. Confused

Look up the V6 box on the Virgin media Webb site and see what type of output cables it has.
Then look at the back of your TV and see if it is compatible.
Eg I believe the V6 does not have a coaxial output (old style tv Ariel cable jack) so that may very well not do.
The V6 will certainly have at least one HDMI jack, this is the new tv connection technology and I would be pleasantly surprised if your 25 year old TV had it.
Finally I think you can buy cables with an HDMI jack on one end and other types of connector on the other so you may be able to connect incompatible TV with V6 box.
I would check this out before you order a box just in case you are incompatible and need a new TV.
In fact, thinking about it, it is very possible ’s output may only have digital output. Therefore you need to check that your TV can also handle that if applicable.
Good luck

Having consulted that much loved South American river named online shopping company I note that they sell an HDMI to RF Coaxial converter box for about £30.
I guess that may do the trick, but am not an electrically minded person. I only mention this as I once had a Scart to HDMI converter cable that did what I wanted.
