...should we be Doing Something?

Houses that have sold subsequently are on there.

Some rural houses in random places don't get featured...

LadyMacbeth · 02/08/2007 13:13

I don;t know if that applies to you though?

Tinker · 02/08/2007 13:15

No, not rural. Has our solicitor ballsed up somewhere? Does it matter?

Our purchase took ages to appear, finally listed in July's update from February sale. Land Registry lost our paperwork and were going to fine us until our Solicitor intervened. Nethouseprices only downloads about once a month and that is a month behind the Land Registry. If it is your sale I don't think you need worry as it is the purchaser who registers it.

Yes, it was our sale. Our purchase was on a few months ago. nhp is updated today

Only registrations up to end of June though (keepign eye out for £ a local house I know sold early June ! [nosy emoticon]). Odd yours hasn't appeared yet , are you searhcing by postcode or address in case a typo has thrown the search out ?

Tinker · 02/08/2007 13:26

By postcode. Ironically, horrible neighbours have sold in May - for 10k less than tehy were asking and 4k less than ours. Ha ha!

It can take ages. The house next door to us sold in December last year and I've been desperate to know what it sold for. It only came up a few days ago!

I don't know if it's to do with individual solicitors, because some houses seem to show up within a few months.

Lubyloo · 03/08/2007 21:53

Have you looked to see if it is on here?

Tinker · 04/08/2007 16:14

Thanks, lubyloo but, no, not on there either (same info as nhps though)

This is currently happening with our house which we bought in April. It's still not on "our property" website which is a similar website to the one you mention. I checked with my solicitor and it means that the sale and subsequent change of title for our house has not been registered at the Land Registry yet. It should have been by now and it's because of a paperwork error (not by our solicitor I hasten to add) which means the official registering cannot take place yet. I would definitely ask your solicitor to look into it, it seems that something along your paperwork trail did not happen and needs to be sorted out.
