Clearing damp smell after leak from wallpaper

So a few months ago we had a leak in our bathroom cupboard. It's been cleared snd is now bone dry, but a stale watery smell remains.. I have an awful feeling it's from where the wallpaper has dried with the leaked water on it. It does smell like something that's dried with old water on it rather than mildew. It's a dry/talcy smell. DH can't smell it but I'm 36wks pregnant and it's clear to me!

We're hopefully moving in a few months (just accepted an offer) so I'd like a quick fix that's ideally not removing the wallpaper, it's a massive 8ft by 6ft cupboard and I'm fairly sure the plaster behind will be in a less than brilliant state.

Any ideas? I think if I wasn't pregnant I wouldn't care! Blush
