Help! I've chipped my shower tray!

Just been cleaning the shower and one of the metal handles has fallen off onto the shower tray. It's chipped it down to metal(?). The chip is about 1cm across. See photo attached.

Any idea how I can repair it? If I don't repair it, will it leak?

Any help will be most appreciated!

Could you use some white silicone sealant?

I repaired a chip in a shower tray very cheaply using white Miliput (waterproof 2 part epoxy putty) and two grades of wet and dry paper. It's highly unlikely you'll be able to exactly match the shade of white whatever product you use btw.
