“Split level lounge / dining room” 😵

On holiday in Cornwall and this caught our eye. Not our corner of the country unfortunately but a lot of house / land for your money.

In my 50 + years on this planet, however, I have never come across a split level living room / dining room!

I had another look at the house and started transforming it and designing it in my mind to bring it up to date. I love its potential!

I know whoever buys it is going to rip it apart but people need to realise that keeping 60s/70s original features is just as important as keeping Victorian/Edwardian one’s. Before long people are going to start putting them back in homes, mark my words!

We've got a split level living room and I love it. It's not helped us to sell our house though

Love it! I would love to see it restored and some fabulous swingers move in.

It will probably be “hinched” all character removed and dunked in grey and B&M

My cousin lives in the most fabulous 70s house. I'm consumed with envy! Split level master bedroom as well as split level living room - and - and - and - a den with a coffee pit!

I live on an 80’s development with 47 other houses with split levels. It’s not exactly 😮 material??

They're still including them in some contemporary houses - rather high end ones though.
