After an annoying delay we are finally in a position to put my late father's house on the market. I'm going down at the weekend to to a bit of tidying up to make it look its best. It's in basically very good order and uncluttered and we will get a cleaner in to give it a good going over. The gardener has continued to come to keep that under control.
Any tips or things I should think about? I'm hoping to clear a bit of excess furniture out of a few rooms eg one room is stuffed with two bunk beds for grandchildren which make it look much smaller.
It's a family house really, though also good for a retired couple. A large 3-4 bed bungalow with a very big garden.
I can't do anything like flowers, fruit etc as can't go in regularly. It needs to look after itself for a bit once done.
