Our dd is looking to buy her first flat/house. We live in an expensive area, and she needs to stay in that area for work reasons. She's a really DIY girl and her fiancé's family own's a joining company so to save money they want to buy a wreck to do up.
We've been looking with them for over a year now, and no properties have come up that need renovation! Yes there have been a few that need a bit of modernising, but they were only 10-20k cheaper.
About 10 years ago there were loads of properties in dire need of modernising. Have the middle classes bought them all and done them all up?!
