we were due to exchange on our new house within days (probably next Monday/Tuesday)
all was going swimmingly according to the solicitors
contracts were signed and ready to be exchanged and then ...
the person who we are buying from (the top of the chain) pulled out today!
so that is it, back to square one
it was a lovely house, but i am going to have a little moan and then re-register with all the estate agents and start again
