Builder/bathroom fitter recommendations in London

Hello! Title says it all really - does anyone have any recommendations?

We're in a Victorian terrace in the SE and the bathroom is a STATE - we had the chimney breast removed last year and still haven't dealt with the mess left over.

It's a pretty extensive renovation job, including knocking down the wall between the currently separate toilet and the main bathroom, so we want to make sure we find a decent builder/fitter. But it's so overwhelming trying to sort through the reviews on Rated People and figure out what's real etc....so thought I'd see if anyone has any personal recommendations!

Thank you Smile

I've recently done this (SW London) and would recommend finding a local plumbers merchant, buying fittings from there - getting them to recommend some fitters, and get several quotes.

If you're anywhere near Clapham I've had two bathrooms from these guys, they were in a plumbers merchant and now have graduated to a full separate shop: www.claphamparkbathrooms.co.uk/ they are excellent, and can recommend good fitters too.
